I FELT LIKE A ROCK STAR – I PROMISE YOU – JASMINE* IS TRULY AWESOME!
Well here are the pictures from our photo shoot! Our models were a real and spectacular couple names Jodi and Matt. She is an aspiring model and this was her first time. Well let me tell you she nailed it right away, a total natural! I’m sure she’s going to be super successful. We had a blast shooting and as you can imagine it was crazy, twenty something people (mostly girls) shooting around one couple. I’m sure they got a pretty good idea how celebrities feel with all the paparazzi’s following them! Hahaha, we had a blast and although I didn’t have much time to get to know everybody a little better it was great. Meeting your peers and exchanging our experiences was Fabulous!
Jodi’s beautiful dress was design by Joan Shum, her corsets are incredible. The flowers were courtesy of The Treasured Petal and they were so gorgeous I thought they weren’t real. I’m sure one of the first things you’ll notice in Jodi is her make up, it was beautifully done by Vivian Tran and the jewelry was courtesy of Noaki Jewerly! Simply Fenomenal! Last but definitely not least, I want to say thank you to Photographer’s Edit for contributing with our delicious and organic lunches, I thought that was nice!!!
I hope you like the pictures, I had a great time and the weather, the landscapes and the vegetation in this part of California was so beautiful and colorful that I couldn’t help but to add some shots of those as well. Let me know what you think!

As I mentioned in my previous post I’d be sharing some of the pictures I took when I participated last week at the PortfolioPlusWorkshop with Ray Santana and Kenny Kim. The experience of spending a day with this incredibly talented group of photographers was uncompared to anything else I’ve ever done. I learned so much! I went in there knowing that I wanted to become a wedding photographer and I left 100% convinced that there’s nothing else in this world I rather do. I’m extremely grateful for the assistance I received by the instructors Ray and Kenny and by their guest speakers Jim Garner and Dave Cross.
Now let me tell you, when you have twenty-something photographers ready to shoot at three gorgeous models all at the same time is like when you go to the park to see the ducks and throw a little piece of bread to the floor, hahaha… It was exciting and although the “organized chaos” we all had the opportunity to receive one-on-one instruction and also the time to direct the models as we wished. I was a little shy about the latest because I was already a mess just trying to figure out my exposure, lighting, Kelvin temperature, etc. Anyway, I SIMPLY LOVED IT. I wish I could have one of this shootings every weekend, the excitement and the energy of the group was contagious and we were all having fun, joking around in a relaxed environment. The day was gorgeous and the weather was perfect. What else can a girl ask for. Take a look at the pictures below, I hope you like them, I’m pretty satisfied considering my level and non-existent-experience, Oh! and don’t forget that this was my day number six with a proffessional camera… So be honest but kind please, don’t break my heart

WE’VE GOT LOTS OF ATTENTION, HAHAHA
My very good friend Lina got married in a very small ceremony and she didn’t have a photographer. So when she learned that I wanted to become a wedding photographer she was so thrilled knowing that at least she would have some pictures after the wedding. We went to the spectacular Design Distric of Miami Beach and walked the streets up and down. There was something cool and exciting in every corner. After her husband saw her pictures he finally agreed to have some taken of the two, so that one is hopefully coming before the end of the century! She’s so photogenic it’s not even funny!!! 100% Trooper… You’ve got to love her!

IN COWBOY BOOTS SHE RAN, JUMPED AND CRAWLED, SHE WAS A REAL TROOPER!
Ok that dress my friend Marjorie is wearing was the dress I wore in 1998 when I married my first husband and the father of my son. I wasn’t going to mention this “tiny-little” detail but I actually think it’s hilarious. So since I’m shooting anything wearing white I thought “Why the heck not?” Right? Who cares – definitely not my ex, hahaha. She looked great and the dress still rocks! It has like a little filling on the butt to make it look like Marie Antoinette, I guess I was into that back then
This was my second photo shoot after receiving the camera, I think they’re good considering my in-expertise… I hope you like them – she’s really beautiful!
